July 03, 2013 Energy Air Share this post Construction is under way for the Energy Air team installing the heating, ventilation and air conditioning system at the new O’Reilly Auto Parts Distribution Center in Lakeland, FL. The large facility includes a 388,000-square-foot distribution center, including 7,000 square feet of retail space. We started construction June 17 on the HVAC scope of work, which includes exhaust fans and louvers in the warehouse and rooftop units for the office spaces. Our team will also be installing the exhaust ductwork for the battery-charging station’s hydrogen detection system. Designing the ductwork for the unique conveyor system required extensive coordination. Energy Air project manager, Chad Allman, and CAD Designer/Drafter, Crystal Byrd, reviewed the CAD conveyor system drawings with Energy Air’s CAD drawings to ensure there were no conflicts prior to starting construction. Opening in 2014, the facility is expected to generate 300 jobs for the area.
