The Energy Air team recently completed construction of the HVAC system for SkyHouse Orlando, a new 320-unit, 358,000-square-foot high-rise apartment community in the heart of downtown Orlando at the intersection of Magnolia and Livingston. The project includes a 24-story apartment building with 16 units per floor, 8,232 square feet of ground-floor retail and an eight-level parking garage. The 680-ton mechanical system includes four rooftop units, six core split systems, four mini splits, a smoke evacuation system, exhaust fans, heaters, air purification and standalone controls with an approximate installed value of $2.3 million. The general contractor for the project is Batson-Cook Construction. In addition to this project, Energy Air was recently awarded a contract to complete the HVAC installation for SkyHouse Channelside, which will start construction soon in Tampa.
