Hospitality/Entertainment
Keeping Your Guests Cool and Refreshed
In the hospitality industry, nothing is more important than providing your guests with ultimate comfort. With tourists coming from all over the world to visit our state’s theme parks, beaches and other attractions – many of them during the hot summer months – hotels and resorts should provide a cool oasis away from the sweltering heat… and that means a high-performing HVAC system is a must.

At Energy Air, we’re lucky to be headquartered in the tourism capital of the world, and we’re proud to have been a part of a wide variety of hospitality and entertainment projects in Orlando, Tampa, Miami and throughout the state.

When it comes to hospitality/entertainment projects, Energy Air has done it all. We’ve successfully completed the entire scope of HVAC work for hotels, restaurants, clubhouses, conference centers, amusement parks and rides, gyms, community centers, movie theaters and more. From the full redesign and build of a seven-story, 170,000-square-foot hotel, to the complete renovation of a convention center, to even a new water park, our commercial team has worked with HVAC systems in all realms of the hospitality industry.
Hospitality and Entertainment Projects
Here’s a look at some of the hospitality industry projects we’ve completed recently:
WDW Project H - Star Wars Galactic Star Cruiser
Energy Air was contrracted by PCL in 2019 to complete the entire HVAC scope for Star Wars: Galactic Star Cruiser project, an interactive Star Wars themed hotel that took approximately two years to complete. This unique hotel allows guests to become fully immersed in their own Star Wars experience.
Universal Project 791 - Velocicoaster
Energy Air, Inc. (EAI) is honored to have been selected by PCL Construction as the trade contractor to install the HVAC mechanical system for this Cretaceous experience. The newest Universal Islands of Adventure ride will allow guests to experience the intensity and swiftness of a Velociraptor at speeds of up to 70 mph. This rollercoaster features over 4,700 feet of track, reaches a height of 155 feet and has four inversions.
Daytona International Speedway
Barton Malow contracted Energy Air to complete the entire HVAC system for Daytona’s International Speedway. The mechanical system installed includes one of the largest VRF, or variable refrigerant flow, systems in the country. This technology makes it possible to give different areas heating or cooling control.
