  • Energy Air Achieves Gold STEP Award from the Associated Builders and Contractors


    ORLANDO, FL July 28, 2009 — Energy Air, Inc. was awarded with a Gold level STEP award at the Associated Builders and Contractors (ABC) annual 2009 Safety Training and Evaluation Process (STEP) awards banquet.

    At its core, STEP remains a way for ABC members to build upon their long-term safety performance and training efforts. This is the tenth gold-level STEP award Energy Air has received since 1999.

    Energy Air’s commitment to safety and training has enabled them to achieve an experienced modification rate at .71. The industry average is 1. Energy Air’s safety goals are accomplished through the implementation of strict safety standards, a safety committee, monthly safety newsletter, safety pays jackpot and a proactive approach in addressing safety issues.

    The Safety Training Evaluation Process is a benchmarking tool that helps ABC members improve their safety and training programs.
