May 24, 2012 Energy Air Share this post Energy Air was recently presented with the prestigious Four Star Training, Education and Management (TEAM) award by Associated Builders and Contractors (ABC) of Central Florida. Energy Air Director of Human Resources, Marti Zika, and HR Coordinator, Olga Montero-Glover accepted the award at the association’s awards banquet on May 15, 2012 in Altamonte Springs, Fla. Participating contractors, suppliers and vendors were honored at the annual event for ABC’s education awards. The program was established to recognize members for outstanding training, education and employee development programs, and applicants are evaluated in areas such as commitment, policies, responsibilities, financial commitment, goals, standards, evaluation, participation, incentives and reward programs, and record keeping. Energy Air has been participating in the awards competition consistently since 2001.The company started its own in-house school, named Florida Air Conditioning Training (F.A.C.T.) in 2006. The program teaches all aspects of HVAC. In addition to the F.A.C.T. Program, Energy Air also believes strongly in providing continuing education and growth opportunities for all of its employees.
