May 13, 2013 Energy Air Share this post For the fourth year in a row, Energy Air, Inc., was presented with the prestigious Four Star Training, Education and Management (TEAM) award by Associated Builders and Contractors (ABC) of Central Florida. Energy Air Director of Human Resources, Marti Zika, and HR & Safety Coordinator, Olga Montero-Glover, accepted the award at the association’s awards banquet on May 8, 2013 in Altamonte Springs, Fla. Participating contractors, suppliers and vendors were honored at the event. Energy Air has been participating in the awards competition consistently since 2001 and in 2006 started its own in-house school named Florida Air Conditioning Training (F.A.C.T.). The program teaches all aspects of HVAC. In addition to the F.A.C.T. program, Energy Air provides continuing education and growth opportunities for all of its employees, per its mission statement, which establishes a commitment to employee development. The TEAM awards program was established to recognize ABC members for outstanding training, education and employee development programs, and applicants are evaluated in areas such as commitment, policies, responsibilities, financial commitment, goals, standards, evaluation, participation, incentives and reward programs, and record keeping.
