  • Energy Air Ranks Sixth Largest Southeast Mechanical Contractor

ENR Southeast released its annual Top Specialty Contractors list on September 5, highlighting the top firms in the southeast – the ones that have been able to withstand the struggles of the recent recession. Energy Air’s 2012 revenue figures garner the company the ranking of sixth largest mechanical contractor in the southeast.

Additionally, Energy Air placed 39th out of all trades represented on the list that work in the southeastern United States and 17th out of all Florida specialty contractors. The list ranks the top 100 firms, which represent trades such as electrical, mechanical, masonry and roofing, just to name a few. These 100 firms accounted for $5.1 billion in specialty contracting revenue for commercial construction projects in 2012.

According to its website, “ENR Southeast attempts to bring structure to an otherwise huge and chaotic industry by performing an annual survey and ranking companies engaged in general contracting, specialty contracting, engineering, architecture, planning and studies. The rankings are based on annual revenue at home and abroad, and are further divided into specific market categories.”
