November 15, 2010 energyair Share this post The Energy Air team continued its winning streak on Friday, Nov 12, as they walked away from the Central Florida Hotel and Lodging Association’s HEAT trade show with a third place award for Best Themed Booth. Energy Air employees Mike Mason, Director of Commercial Service Development, Kevin McGrath, Director of Commercial Sales, Kati Trisler, Director of Marketing, and Dan Zeak, Commercial Sales and Project Management, participated in the one-day expo, which featured 242 exhibitors, 12 ultimate chef competition booths, 65 first-time exhibitors and more than 900 lodging executives and managers walking the trade show floor. The team garnered the award with its execution of a “Talladega Nights- The Ballad of Ricky Bobby” themed booth design, which included a slot car track, a television with the movie playing and various other props. The team dressed in Rick Bobby pit crew shirts and hats and challenged participants to races. The trade show was held at the Orlando World Center Marriott. Exhibitors were encouraged to theme their booths based on the sports team theme. The first place award was presented to The Toro Company Irrigation Division and second place was given to Global Sourcing Int’l.
